Frequently asked questions

What do Hops and Scotch provide?

Our handmade bars are equipped with fonts, beer cooler, drinks fridges and ice. We provide staff, disposable glassware for events and a premium glassware selection for weddings. We use a portable card machine so can take both cash and card payments and organise any licenses required for your wedding or event.

Do Hops and Scotch only do weddings?

From BBQs to festivals – we water all and everyone.

What drinks do you serve?

Lager and cider, real ale, wine, champagne and prosecco, cocktails, spirits, soft drinks and mineral water. If its not listed and you want it we’ll find it.

What about licenses?

We provide a temporary events license for your wedding should one be required. There will always be a personal license holder behind our bar and we are fully insured. 

Can Hops and Scotch provide cocktails?

Yes! Cocktails can be organised in advance by yourselves and incur a small deposit depending on the volume required.

Where are Hops and Scotch based and do you travel?

We’re based in North Wales. Travel? Anything’s possible.

What are your bar's dimensions?

We have two bars measuring 2.5m long, 1.2m high and 0.9m deep each. Our standard configuration is one front and one back bar, requiring an area of 3m x 3m at least. We can configure our bar as one long 5m  section, this will require a space of 6m by 3m at least. for outdoor events we can provide our gazebo, which measures 4.5m x 3m.

We also have our horsebox bar. This measures 5.2m long, 2.7m high and 2m wide. This will require a space of 6m x 3m at least. 

 

What does it cost to hire Hops and Scotch?

We charge a standard booking fee of £50.00 for all events. Bespoke event bars can incur additional charges, as can long distance travelling. Send us a message to discuss pricing your event.
